OUR KEY PERSONNEL
Mark N. Altman, AIA, NCARB
General Partner
Mr. Altman is the General Partner of Altman & Altman, Architects and is the third family member, succeeding his father and grandfather, to oversee the firm. After working for several Architecture firms in Columbus, Ohio he joined Altman & Altman in 1974 and became the General Partner in 1986. He is a 1970 graduate of the University of Virginia School of Architecture. He has been a visiting lecturer, teaching a course in construction for Superintendent’s Certification classes at California University of Pennsylvania. He also served as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association in resolving construction disputes and has served on the local building code appeals board. Mr. Altman is a member of the American Institute of Architects, United States Green Building Council, International Code Council (ICC), Construction Specification Institute (CSI) and the Pennsylvania Society of Architects (PSA). He is a registered architect in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, Ohio and Kentucky and has a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards certification.


Kenneth Schrock, AIA, NCARB
Senior Project Architect
Mr. Schrock is a Project Architect with Altman & Altman and oversees many of the firm’s major projects. He is the lead designer in the firm in addition to being responsible for construction documents and contract administration. He has 17 years experience including nine years with a national firm. He graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. He is a Registered Architect in Pennsylvania and a member of the American Institute of Architects and the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). He has a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards certification.


ERNEST A. WALTERS, AIA
Senior Architect
Mr. Walters is a Project Architect with Altman & Altman and in addition to being responsible for many of the firm’s projects including contract administration, he handles most of the firm’s specification preparation. He is a graduate of Penn State University, and has an Associate Degree in Architectural Engineering Technology and an Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. He has been a Registered Architect in Pennsylvania since 1988 and is a member of the American Institute of Architects and United States Green Building Council (USGBC). He has been a visiting lecturer at Penn State University, Fayette Campus, in Architectural Engineering Technology.


Gregory R. Asbee
LEED Accredited Professional
Mr. Asbee is a graduate of Temple University School of Architecture in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is a LEED Accredited Professional and has been working in the Architectural profession for eight years. Prior to Temple University, he studied at Kent State University, Kent, Ohio, and Westmoreland County Community College, Youngwood, Pa. where he received an Associate Degree in Drafting Technology (with a concentration in Architecture). He has completed his Intern Development Program (IDP) and will begin taking the Architectural Registration Exam (ARE). Mr. Asbee is a member of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) and a member of the LEED® Material and Resource Committee.
