Among Altman & Altman’s many commissions are many commercial/ office facilities. Projects include office buildings, retail stores, shopping centers, funeral homes, fire departments, legal offices, animal shelters, apartment buildings, etc. These are some of our projects:

The Fayette County Community Opportunities building is an office facility located in downtown Uniontown, PA in the expanding Fayette County Community Action Agency, Inc. (FCCAA) campus. It houses the main FCCAA Administration staff, the Pennsylvania Labor & Industry Workers’ Compensation Uniontown office, and additional space for leasing. This building is the first Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design - New Construction (LEED™-NC) for Uniontown area. Fayette County Community Opportunities has been a client of Altman & Altman, Architects for a number of years. We designed their family services center in 1997.

The Fayette County PA Children and Youth Services agency needed new offices. Altman & Altman, Architects was commissioned to program and design a new office building to fit their specified needs. The County Agency employs approximately 23 personnel. This project came in exactly on budget and was completed ahead of schedule. $110,000 in contingency funds were returned to the county for other uses.

Walnut Hill Plaza Altman & Altman, Architects was responsible for designing the 93,000 square foot plaza that has Shop ‘n Save as main anchor and 12 other tenant stores. The Walnut Hill Plaza has been very successful and the business volume has exceeded the owner’s expectations.

Uniontown Public Safety Building: The City of Uniontown, PA commissioned Altman & Altman to design a new 10,600 square foot Public Safety Building to house the Fire Department and some police activities. Altman & Altman completed all design and had the project out for bid in eleven weeks.
